| The media complains about exhibition football games because stars players sometimes get hurt and they cost the same price for tickets as regular season games. Do you think the NFL should get rid of 2 more exhibitions games and go with a 18 game season? Personally, I do not see how teams could decide what players (non-starters) to keep (or what players to start on close calls) with just 2 exhibition games and I do not watch exhibition football. Hence, I am fine with the way it is now (although the 14 games, 6 exhibitions way of years ago seems silly in hindsight). |
