Bonds, Clemens, and Steroids

Hopefully, Bonds' and Clemens' arrogance, lying, and cheating will finally catch-up with them. While Bud Selig should have done something earlier on his own about steroid use in baseball, the players can also blame themselves. When it became obvious that some players were using steroids and gaining an illegal, unfair advantage -- if the players (especially the star players) started speaking up and complaining about the cheating -- the public pressure on Selig would have been too great not to act. Instead, many of them started using steroids which made everything worse (including their health long-term) instead of better.
