| Traditionally, in both men's and women's tennis once a player loses their no. #1 ranking they rarely get it back. While Roger Federer may not get it back -- it does not appear he is going quietly. With her victory in the US Open, Serena got the no. 1 ranking back after a 4 year, one month gap -- the longest ever in women's tennis. So much for tennis players being burned out at age 25 (Williams turns 27 on Sept. 26th, 2008 and Federer turned 27 on August 8th, 2008). |

Roger Federer is my all time favorite player. He lost his no 1 ranked in the past but he bounced back and again got his position.Now again he has lost his no 1 position,Currently his rank is 3 after Wimbledon. Serena Williams is really a fighter. She wins Wimbledon fifth time and currently she is world no 1.
