Cris Carter, Andre Reed, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame

I was surprised that Cris Carter was not voted into the Pro Football of Fame last week although I am fairly certain he will get in next year with 3 big names now gone. I was less surprised that Andre Reed did not get in, however, I think he should also be voted in. I don't know how you can turn down Carter: 1103 receptions (3rd all time), 130 touchdowns (4th all time) and 13,899 yards (7th all time) and 12.6 ypr. Plus he had great hands, was voted to 8 pro bowls, and 2 all-pro teams, and did more than just "catch touchdowns." Reed was more borderline with 7 pro bowls, twice second team all-pro, he also had great hands and was an excellent route runner, had 951 catches (6th all time), 87 touchdowns (11th all time), 13,198 yards (10th all time, and 13.9 ypr. Do you think Carter and Reed should be voted into the Pro Football of Fame?
